Top Tip
WALT: find out what our top tip is for cyber smarts.
This is my top tip.
What I like about it is that the people that don't know about it then I can go and trick them.
What I found challenging was trying to find out what the shortcut is.
Painting The Drains
WALT: design I drawing to help stop pollution.
This drawing was made by me and my buddy Kiko. This is only a draft the actual drawing will be done with paint but we are still waiting for the paint to arrive. The paint that we will be using is a paint that won't get washed away fast and it will stay there for a long time. I can't wait to see how the Turtle will turn out when we actually paint it. It was pretty fast to finish because we both had a part each to do. I done most of the patterns and Kiko done the outline of the turtle and some of the patterns.
Maths W9T1
WALA: Graphs and leaf and stem plot and a dot plot.
This is my maths work for this week. The one that I found the most challenging was the tally chart but when I got to the stem and leaf plot and the dot plot it got easier. the task that I liked the most was the dot plot because it was easy to do and it wasn't confusing when the teacher explained it to me. This weeks maths was probably the best maths we got threw out the term because it was easy and fast tho finnish.
Reuse And Attributed An Image
WALT: find out if the images we use is labeled for reuse.
What I found easy was finding a image that I like.
What I found challenging was trying to find the information for all the images.
Next time I could work on adding more images and adding more information to it.
Digital Dig
WALA: keyboard shortcuts.
What I found easy was that most of the shortcuts that was on the slide I already knew about.
What I found challenging was trying to find out what the shortcut was for the ones that I didn't know.
Next time I could try to finish my work faster.
A digital dig is when you dig deeper for more information.

Whanaungatanga Experience
Whanaungatanga Experience
The purpose of this whanaungatanga experience was too build up our confidence and to bond with our pairs. This was a good thing for us because we're learning how to build relationships with our pairs and how to work together with people we don’t hangout with. This was a good thing it really did help us and I hope that this will carry on for our school.
When we went to Polyfest I was happy because it was my first time but to be honest I didn’t really enjoy it because the stage that I wanted to see perform was the tongan stage but they were mainly doing the speech competition. There speeches were about road safety. The main purpose of us going to Polyfest was to learn about the different cultures. But it was cool there as well. What I enjoyed was the activities they had set up for us to try win something. But it was still a great day for polyfest. After polyfest it was time to go back to school but me and these two other boys didn’t go on the bus we went with are teacher in her car. When we got to school we played games for a while but then we had to go home and get ready for our sleepover.
When I got back to school there was only like are little bit of people but as the time went on people started arriving. It was are fun night. What I really enjoyed about the sleepover was the fiafia night because we had some people go up and do funny performances. After our fiafia night it was time for bed. The reason why we stopped the fiafia night was because me and these other boys were sleeping during the performance. In the tent I was sleeping in there was about 11 people including me. We got in trouble most of the time because we were the loudest tent and it took for ages for us to go to sleep.
After our sleepover we went to the pools. The first activity we done at the pools was team building activities we had to race the other teams to the end of the pool. I think I only won two or three races that day. After the races we had morning tea. When we finished eating we had free time what I mainly did was play rugby. But sometimes it got are little bit to rough for us to play. When we stopped playing rugby we went and played around in the pool. It was a hot day. When we finished we went back to school and we had to share what our highlights for thursday and friday was.
I hope that if the school does this again that we should sleep at school for more than one night. This was a cool thing for us to have because we got to bond with people we don’t really talk to. There was really no problems with this experience. To me I found fun, enjoyable and exciting.

Maths W6T1
MATHS
WALT: Improve on our dividing skills.
This week for maths my group was trying to improve on our dividing skills. My group name is called islander maths. We picked this name because we are all islanders in our group. This task was kind of hard because I havn't done any division in a while or any maths but I am still looking forward to next week's maths work. In the beginning of my work I was kinda confused but as I went on it got easier. Next week I hope that it will be easier and faster to complete but it was still a good task. What I liked about this task was that some of it was easy and that it was challenging me. Some of it I got stuck at but I still completed it.
The Secret Life Of Estuaries
WALT: Find the main ideas in the text.
This is my reading task for this week.
What I found challenging was trying to find examples to support my main idea.
What I found easy was the last bit in the task because all I had to do was reflect on what I done.

5kg Of Coins Removed From Turtle
5kg Of Cons Removed From Turtle
WALT: Reflect on an article that we have red
The article that I was reading was about this Turtle that swallowed 5kg worth of coins. The Green Sea Turtle has been living in a conservation center that is located in Sriracha, Chonburi which is east of Thai capital of Bangkok. The Green Sea Turtle has eaten 900 coins after they where thrown in her enclosure for good luck. The coins and other objects where removed from the Turtle named Omsin, which means piggy bank in Thai. The coins weigh 5kg and her self weighing at 59kg. So that means when the coins where inside of her she weighted 64kg altogether. The vets believe that the seven hour surgery was the worlds first such surgery.
I kinda feel sad for the turtle because she had to go threw a seven hour surgery because she swallowed some of the coins that people have thrown into where she lived.

Kiwi Can Reflection
KIWI CAN REFLECTION
WALT: Work as a team and cooperate with each other.
Today at Kiwi Can we got put into for groups. I was put in the fourth group. My group was just boys there was no girls. There was also a past student in our group he left our school because he got a scholarship to Dilworth Junior Campuss he is only year seven this year. It was good to have him back at school for one day because we don't get to see him often. In our energizer we had to get in a group of two and find out what your buddy's favourite colour, favourite food, what he done on the weekend's and where does he want to go on his or her holiday. The we got asked a few questions on disagreement. Disagreement is something when you won't agree with something you have heard of have seen on t.v. For example when you got outside for lunch time and you want to play a game and not all your friends want to play it because they had something else in mind instead of playing what you wanted to play, that is what a disagreement is. Then for the activity we played this game called Code Breaker. This game was really fun and it made every one happy when they won the round. Unfortunately my group lost to two teams and we won against no teams. But it was alright as long as we were working as a team and giving it our all then we would be alright.
