Siosifa - Maths

WALT: Reflect on what we done for maths.

Maths

Marbles are packed into bags and sold in bags of five.

Stand A is made up with two yellow marbles and three purples marbles.

Stand B is made up with two pule marbles and three yellow marbles.

What is the smallest number of each different bags of marbles you would have to get.

A. The same number of yellow marbles on both stand A and B.
The answer is 2 yellow marbles on stand A and three yellow marbles on stand B.

B. The same number of purple marbles on both stand A and B.
The answer is 3 purple marbles on stand A and 2 purple marbles on stand B.

This what I did for maths. It is based on ratios. What I found challenging was question A and B because it was just confusing for me. Next time I could be more active with my maths so that I can get more done. I was also working with my good friend Toma. What I enjoyed was working with Toma because he is funny. Next time I will try and give you more information on my maths but that is all I done for today.

I hope you enjoyed reading if you did then please leave a comment and if you want me to work on anything then still leave a comment so that I can add it to the next time I blog my maths.

Honesty, Responsibility And Integrity

WALT: reflect on what we have been talking about in Kiwi Can.

This talks about what we have been doing in Kiwi Can for this term. What I found challenging was trying to add more information to this. We only done this because it was for free writing.

Honesty
Today I’ll be talking about honesty. What honesty means to me is that we should always be honest and shouldn’t try to blame someone else for what you have done. If you aren’t honest then you could end up hurting someone or making the problem bigger. If you take the blame for your own actions then you won’t be hurting anyone else. If you try to blame someone for what you have done you could end up feeling guilty.

Responsibility
What responsibility means to me is that we should be responsible for what we do. Ways that you can show that you are responsible is taking care of animals or little brothers or sisters. You can also take action for your learning so that you finished work on time. You can be are good role model for the younger kids. Taking care of what you own and of yourself. If you aren’t responsible than people could look at you in a  bad way.

Integrity

What integrity means to me is that you should be doing the right thing even if no one is looking. If you do these things then you could become a leader or are role model for the younger kids. This also includes being honest.

Soccer Reflection

On Wednesday we went to a Soccer tournament at Pt England Reserve. I wasn't suppose to go but they told me to put the uniform on and they'll call my mum for permission. The only reason I went was because five of their players didn't come so they picked me to go. When we got there we just had a little play around until our first game started. Our first game was against Sylvia Park A. We ended up with one all so it was a tie. Our second game was against Ruapotaka. We beat them 1 to 0. That was our first game we won on the day. Then our second game was against St Patricks. We beat them 4 to 0. Then our fourth game was against Panmure Bridge School. We tied up with them but this game no one scored a point. Our fifth game was against Glen Taylor I think the bate us 1 or 2 to 0. I think Glen Taylor would be the hardest school we versed because they had fast players and they had subs as well my team never had any subs. Our last game was against Sylvia Park B we lost 1 to 0. I didn't really enjoy this game because this palangi kid kept on screaming in my ear so I tried to shoulder charge him and because most of my team kept on getting contact for them but the ref didn't do anything.

Blog Profile 2017

WALT: write a profile about our self.
This is my blog profile for this year. It talks about what I find challenging and what Isn't challenging for me. It also talks about what I like to do and what I am good at. What I found challenging about this was nothing only because it's talking about me.

Materials
- Big Bowl/Small Bowl
- Plastic Scraper
- Whisk

- Wooden Spoon

This was our last week at food tach with Miss Tuipulotu. What we made for our last week was Blueberry Muffins. My buddie was Alo he is a Year 7 student. It was a great term with Miss Tuipulotu. She's a great cocker, she's funny and she is also a great teacher. I think that cocking is probably the best technology class at Tamaki College. Next week we are moving to Mr Grundy's class which is hard materials. I'm hoping that Mr Grundy class will be the same as Miss Tuipulotu. What I found challenging was washing the dishes because I also washed group ones dishes as well but it was my fault for telling them that I will clean their dishes. What I licked about the Muffins was that it wasn't burnt like the first time I made Blueberry muffins which was last year.

Weekend Reflection

Reflection On Tonga

Kiwi Sport Reflection

WALT: Reflect on what we learnt at Kiwi Sport.

Today at Kiwi Sport we were practicing our passes and lay ups. Our instructors names are Peter and Hyrum. What I found challenging was the lay ups because when I went for a lay up the ball would go to the other side instead of the direction I want it to go that is also what I could improve on. The passes we learnt was chest pass, bounce pass and overhead pass. The passing wasn’t really challenging to me because we learnt it already. After doing the passes we had to do Miami drills. In Miami drills you just run and pass the ball to the people on the side and they have to pass back to you and when you finished passing you have to do a lay up. My team lost both rounds because some of us found it difficult to do a lay up. Because we lost we had to do suicides. Our last game for the session was ball tag. It was boys vs girls but the boys in the yellow shirts had to jump in the girls team. I was one of the boys with the yellow shirts. But in the last round we had to jump back in the boys team. The first round my team won and the last round my team won again but this was challenging as well. The reason why I found it challenging was because you couldn't run with the ball and tag someone you had to keep passing it. The experience was fun and challenging. Fun because Basketball is one of the sports e mainly play at school and it was challenging because most of the skills that we done today I havn’t done it since last year.
