Technology Reflection
WALT: make Potato salad and Chicken Kebab.
Potato Salad
1. Slice the potato.
2. Cook with two cups of water.
3. Dice the Spring Onion and the Purple Onion.
4. Drain the Potato After its cooked and mix it in with the Onions and the Dressing.
Chicken Kebab
1. Dice the Chicken.
2. Wet the skewers.
3. Tip into source and place it on flat baking tray and start cooking.
This at technology we were making Potato Salad and Chicken kebab. We had a great time at technolgy. Our school name was on the whiteboard because three groups didn't clean properly it was disappointing to have our name up there but luckily it wasn't my group. We were going to use bacon but only my buddy used. I didn't eat it because I am a Seventh Day Adventist and one of our rules are that we aren't allowed to eat bacon so my tech teacher gave me eggs to do it with. At the end of the session it turned out okay but my potato salad tasted like toothpaste to me.

SoftBall Reflection
WALT: use our school motto for sports days.
On Wednesday the 23rd of February we had a soft ball tournament. Our first game was against Pt England. At the beginning we looked like we were going to beat them but we ended up losing but it was a good game for us we didn't care as long as we win our other games we would be alright.
The second school we versed was Glen Brae but we ended up losing tot as well but we almost lost by nill but I got our first and last home run for that game. To be honest it only looked like the pitcher was the one doing all the work we bowled us out and cathed most of our bats.
Our third game was against panmure bridge our umpire was one of our Kiwi-Can leader. I don't really know his name because we only call him Mr M. That game was also a good game and it was also our first game we won in the tournament. We were happy that we won our first game but we were still humble winners.
Our fourth game was against stone field. On this game I got subbed off for half of the game. But my first bat I fit it up high and stone fields far fielder ended up catching it. I was disappointed but we still beat them. This game was our second game we won it was alright tho but we were still humble winners.
We made it into the final games it was against Sylvia Park. This our best game of all we won again so that left us with two lost and three wins. We were happy when we found out what the score was but we used our school motto for when we go out for sports day which is humble winners and graces losers. This also my last time representing Tamaki at a softball tournament because next year Ill be going off to college.

Badminton Reflection

Introduction:What are the big ideas in this report/activity?
Opening Statement (no more than one sentence) - WALT
Brief description about what you will be discussing in your reflection.
|
In my reflection I’ll be talking about what we done at Kiwisport.
|
Paragraph One
Things to discuss:
|
Those that were involved was Me, Room 9 and our instructor ben. What happened was that we were learning our different grips which are Backhand and Forehand grip. Forehand is like shaking someone's hand and Backhand is like you are flipping something on a frying pan. This happened in the school hall. It happened today.
|
Paragraph Two
Things to discuss:
|
All we did was learnt the two grips, played are game with our partners. I really enjoyed it because me my partner and these other two we would crack each other up when we missed or tried to run to hit it.
|
Paragraph Three
|
This event happened because our school wants us to learn different sports and how it works. I didn’t learn anything because we done this last year as well. What I found challenging was trying to hit the shuttle wit the rackets because the rackets were small.
|
Diagrams/Images supported with information
| |
Conclusion
|
My reflection was just about what we did and what happened at Kiwi Sports. I think my reflection has reached my standards. But if it hasn’t reached my standards then I'll try better next time.

This task was about maths and languages at the same time. What we had to do was get a random number and try to figure out what it means in Maori.
